सत्यनामा वसुमती यं प्राप्पासीज्जनाधिपम्‌ । हिरण्यमवहन्‌ नद्यस्तस्मिज्जनपदेश्वरे

satyanāmā vasumatī yaṃ prāppāsīj janādhipam | hiraṇyam avahan nadyas tasmiñ janapadeśvare ||

Wika ni Vāyu: “Tunay na naging karapat-dapat ang Daigdig sa pangalang ‘Vasumatī’ (Tagapagdala ng yaman) nang makamtan niya ang panginoon ng mga tao na iyon. Sa panahong siya ang naghahari sa lupain, ang mga ilog doon ay nagdadala ng ginto kasabay ng kanilang tubig.”
