ललाटात् प्रसृतो घोर: स्वेदबिन्दुर्बभूव ह । तस्मिन् पतितमात्रे च स्वेदबिन्दौ तदा भुवि
lalāṭāt prasṛto ghoraḥ svedabindur babhūva ha | tasmin patitamātre ca svedabindau tadā bhuvi
Wika ni Bhishma: “Mula sa noo ay lumitaw ang isang nakapanghihilakbot na patak ng pawis. At sa mismong sandaling iyon, pagkapagbagsak na pagkapagbagsak ng patak na yaon sa lupa…”
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights how even a small bodily sign can be treated as an ominous indicator in epic narration, prompting ethical attention and careful discernment about what is unfolding.
Bhīṣma describes a striking physical occurrence: a dreadful sweat-drop emerges from the forehead and, the instant it falls to the ground, something consequential is about to occur (continued in the next verse).
