मोक्षधर्मः — स्नेहपाशच्छेदः

Mokṣa-dharma: Cutting the Bonds of Attachment

नित्यतृप्तः सुसंतुष्ट: प्रसन्नवदनेन्द्रिय: । विभीर्जप्यपरो मौनी वैराग्यं समुपाश्रित:

nityatṛptaḥ susantuṣṭaḥ prasannavadanendriyaḥ | vibhīr japyaparo maunī vairāgyaṃ samupāśritaḥ ||

Wika ni Bhīṣma: Dapat manatiling laging kuntento at ganap na nasisiyahan, pinananatiling payapa at maliwanag ang mukha at ang mga pandama. Huwag hayaang makapasok ang takot. Nakatuon sa pag-uulit ng banal na tunog—gaya ng pantig na Oṃ—dapat pigilan ang pananalita, manahan sa katahimikan, at kumapit sa vairāgya, ang pagkalas sa pagkapit. Sa balangkas ng aral ng Śānti, ito ang panloob na disiplina na nagpapakatatag, nagpapawalang-sakit sa iba, at naghahanda sa tao para sa mas mataas na kaalaman.
