Instruction on the Cessation of Craving

Liberation is attained through firm discernment rooted in renunciation; the realized person becomes ‘brahmabhūta’—established in the supreme—and abides inwardly in Brahman alone, beyond worldly supports.
In the Shanti Parva’s philosophical instruction, Kapila describes the state of accomplished seekers: their intellect is decisively oriented to moksha and renunciation, culminating in Brahman-realization and unwavering absorption in the highest reality.
