इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि शुकानुप्रश्ने पञ्चपञ्चाशदधिकद्वधिशततमो< ध्याय:

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi śukānupraśne pañcapañcāśad-adhika-dviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

Sa gayon, sa Śrī Mahābhārata, sa loob ng Śānti Parva—lalo na sa bahaging Mokṣa-dharma—nagwakas ang ika-255 na kabanata, sa konteksto ng pagtatanong ni Śuka. Ito ay isang pangwakas na kolofon na nagmamarka ng pagtatapos ng kabanata, hindi isang taludtod ng aral na binigkas sa salaysay.
