मृत्योर्ब्रह्मणा नियोजनम् — The Commissioning of Mṛtyu by Brahmā

इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि मोक्षधर्मपर्वणि शुकानुप्रश्ने एकपज्चाशदधिकद्विशततमो<ध्याय:

iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi mokṣadharmaparvaṇi śukānupraśne ekapañcāśadadhikadviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Sa gayon nagtatapos ang ika-251 kabanata sa Śānti Parva ng Śrī Mahābhārata, sa loob ng bahaging Mokṣadharma, sa salaysay hinggil sa mga pagtatanong ni Śuka. Ito ang pangwakas na kolopon na nagmamarka ng pagsasara ng kabanata at naglalagay rito sa mas malawak na talakayan ng akda tungkol sa asal-dharma at paglaya (mokṣa).
