Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization

सर्गकालक्रिया वेदा: कर्ता कार्य क्रियाफलम्‌ | प्रोक्त ते पुत्र सर्व वै यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि

sargakālakriyā vedāḥ kartā kārya kriyāphalam | prokta te putra sarva vai yan māṁ tvaṁ paripṛcchasi ||

Wika ni Vyāsa: “Anak ko, ipinaliwanag ko na sa iyo ang lahat ng itinanong mo—ang paglikha at pag-usbong nito, ang panahon, ang gawa, ang mga Veda, ang gumagawa, ang gawaing dapat gawin, at ang bungang ibinubunga ng gawa.”
