कर्म–ज्ञान–दैव–स्वभावविचारः
Inquiry into Karma, Knowledge, Fate, and Nature
वेदश्रुतिभिराख्यानैरर्थानभिजिगीषति । तितिक्षुरनवज्ञाता तस्मात् सर्वत्र पूजित:
vedaśrutibhir ākhyānair arthān abhijigīṣati | titikṣur anavajñātā tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||
Sa pamamagitan ng mga pahayag ng Veda at ng mga salaysay na minana sa tradisyon, pinagsisikapan niyang itatag at manaig ang tunay na kahulugang nilalayon. Matiisin at hindi kailanman nangmamaliit ng sinuman; kaya siya’y pinararangalan sa lahat ng dako.
वायुदेव उवाच
True authority in teaching comes from grounding one’s arguments in śruti and respected narratives, combined with personal virtues—patience and refusal to demean others—so that learning and persuasion remain ethical.
Vāyudeva describes Nārada’s method and character: he clarifies and establishes meanings using Vedic revelation and traditional accounts, and because he is forbearing and never contemptuous, he is revered universally.
