भावो यो<यमनुप्राप्तो भवितव्यमिदं मम । इति यस्य सदा भावो न स मुहोत् कदाचन,मुझे जो यह अवस्था प्राप्त हुई है, ऐसी ही होनहार थी। जिसके हृदयमें सदा इस तरहकी भावना होती है, वह कभी मोहमें नहीं पड़ता है
bhāvo yo ’yam anuprāpto bhavitavyam idaṃ mama | iti yasya sadā bhāvo na sa muhyet kadācana ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Ang kalagayang dumating sa akin ay talagang nakatakdang mangyari—ganyan ang bahaging itinadhana sa akin. Ang sinumang laging nakapirmi ang isip sa ganitong pagkaunawa ay hindi kailanman nahuhulog sa pagkalito.”
भीष्म उवाच
To remain free from मोह (delusion), one should cultivate a steady inner attitude that accepts what has occurred as inevitable (bhavitavyam). This acceptance stabilizes the mind, preventing confusion, resentment, and mental agitation.
In the Shanti Parva’s instruction-setting, Bhishma speaks from his suffering and hard-won insight, explaining that his present condition is the result of what had to be, and that such a settled understanding protects a person from falling into delusion.
