Guru’s Instruction on Dream, Mind, Guṇas, and Knowing Brahman
Svapna–Manas–Guṇa–Brahma-vicāra
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे विष्णुवाराहं रूपमास्थित: । उदतिष्ठन्महाबाहो स्तूयमानो महर्षिभि:,महाबाहो! इसी बीचमें वाराहरूपधारी भगवान् विष्णु जलसे ऊपर उठे। उस समय महर्षिगण उनकी स्तुति कर रहे थे
etasminn antare viṣṇu-varāhaṁ rūpam āsthitaḥ | udatīṣṭhan mahābāho stūyamāno maharṣibhiḥ ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Noon ding iyon, si Panginoong Viṣṇu—na nag-anyong Varāha, ang Baboy-Damo—ay umahon mula sa mga tubig. Sa paglitaw Niya, pinuri Siya ng mga dakilang rishi sa pamamagitan ng mga himno.”
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights devotion and recognition of divine intervention: when cosmic order is restored through the Lord’s manifestation (Varāha), the wise respond with reverent praise, modeling gratitude and dharmic acknowledgment of protective power.
In the midst of the account, Viṣṇu appears in His Varāha form and rises from the waters, while great sages extol Him—signaling a pivotal divine act associated with rescue and re-establishment of order.
