Śarīrin, Buddhi, and the Limits of Sense-Perception (इन्द्रियबुद्धिशरीरिविचारः)
अनिर्वेदो गतक्लेशो गततन्द्रिरमत्सरी । समाददध्यात् पुनश्चेतो ध्यानेन ध्यानयोगवित्
anirvedo gatakleśo gatatandrir amatsarī | samādadadhyāt punaś ceto dhyānena dhyānayogavit ||
Wika ni Bhishma: Kapag nalilihis ang isip, ang nakaaalam sa disiplina ng pagninilay ay hindi dapat malugmok sa panghihina ng loob o madaganan ng dalamhati. Itakwil ang katamaran at inggit, at muling tipunin at patatagin ang isip sa pamamagitan ng pagninilay.
भीष्म उवाच
A meditator should respond to distraction without discouragement: abandon lethargy and envy, and deliberately re-collect the mind through meditation.
