जपयोगयोः तुल्यफलनिर्णयः

Adhyāya 193: Adjudication of the Comparable Fruits of Japa and Yoga

कृतस्य तु फल तत्र प्रत्यक्षमुपल भ्यते । पानासनाशनोपेता: प्रासादभवनाश्रया:

kṛtasya tu phalaṃ tatra pratyakṣam upalabhyate | pānāsanāśanopetāḥ prāsādabhavanāśrayāḥ |

Sinabi ni Bharadvāja: “Sa kahariang iyon, ang bunga ng mga gawa ay tuwirang nakikita. May mga naninirahan sa matatayog na palasyo, nakaupo sa mararangal na upuan, at nagtatamasa ng pinakamainam na pagkain at inumin. Taglay ang katuparan ng lahat ng hangarin at pinalalamutian ng mga gintong alahas, namumuhay sila sa hayag na kasaganaan; samantalang ang iba’y nakakakuha lamang ng pagkaing sapat upang manatiling buhay, at may ilan pang sa pamamagitan ng buhay-ascetiko at mabigat na pagsisikap lamang nakapagtatagal. Kaya’t ang daigdig na iyon ay inilalarawang higit kaysa sa daigdig na ito.”
