स चाद्य दिवस: पुण्यो हतिथिश्चायमागतः । संकल्पितं चैव धनं कि विचार्यमत: परम्
sa cādya divasaḥ puṇyo hatithiścāyam āgataḥ | saṅkalpitaṃ caiva dhanaṃ ki vicāryamataḥ param ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Ang araw na ito’y mapalad, at dumating na rin ang angkop na tithi ng buwan. Ang yaman na inilaan ay naipasiya na; ano pa ang dapat pag-isipan?”
