Satya-lakṣaṇa (The Characteristics and Forms of Truth) | सत्यलक्षणम्
त्वं तु मोहान्न जानीषे वायोर्बलमनन्तकम् | एवं तस्माद् गमिष्यामि सकाशं मातरिश्वन:,तुम तो मोहवश वायुके अनन्त बलको कुछ समझते ही नहीं हो; अतः अब मैं यहाँसे सीधे वायुदेवके ही पास जाऊँगा
tvaṃ tu mohān na jānīṣe vāyor balam anantakam | evaṃ tasmād gamiṣyāmi sakāśaṃ mātariśvanaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Nārada: “Ngunit ikaw, dahil sa pagkalito, ay hindi nauunawaan ang walang-hanggang kapangyarihan ni Vāyu. Kaya ngayo’y aalis ako rito at tutungo nang tuwiran sa harap ni Mātariśvan (ang Diyos ng Hangin).”
नारद उवाच
Delusion leads one to underestimate forces greater than oneself; wisdom requires humility and a clear recognition of divine or natural powers, rather than prideful misjudgment.
Nārada rebukes the listener for failing to grasp Vāyu’s immeasurable strength and declares that he will leave and go directly to Vāyu (Mātariśvan), indicating a shift from argument to direct engagement with the deity concerned.
