वरमस्मै प्रयच्छेयुस्ततो जीवेदयं शिशु: । यदि भगवान् शिव, कुमार कार्तिकेय, ब्रह्माजी और भगवान् विष्णु इसे वर दें तो यह बालक जी सकता है
varam asmai prayaccheyus tato jīved ayaṃ śiśuḥ | yadi bhagavān śivaḥ, kumāraḥ kārtikeyaḥ, brahmājī ca bhagavān viṣṇuś ca asmai varaṃ dadyuḥ, tadā ayaṃ bālakaḥ jīvet |
Wika ni Jambuka: “Kung pagkakalooban siya ng isang biyaya, mabubuhay ang sanggol na ito. Tunay, kung si Panginoong Śiva, ang kabataang diyos na si Kārtikeya, si Brahmā, at si Panginoong Viṣṇu ang magbibigay ng biyaya, saka lamang makaliligtas ang batang ito.”
जम्बुक उवाच
When circumstances exceed human capacity, the tradition frames hope in terms of divine anugraha (grace): life may be restored only through a boon from the highest deities, emphasizing humility and reliance on higher moral-spiritual order.
Jambuka describes an infant’s survival as contingent upon receiving a divine boon, explicitly naming Śiva, Kārtikeya, Brahmā, and Viṣṇu as the only powers capable of reversing the child’s fate.
