लोकयात्रार्थमेवेह धर्मप्रवचनं कृतम्‌ । अहिंसासाधुहिंसेति श्रेयान्‌ धर्मपरिग्रह:

Transliteration

lokayātrārtham eveha dharmapravacanaṁ kṛtam | ahiṁsā sādhuhīṁseti śreyān dharmaparigrahaḥ ||

Translation

Wika ni Arjuna: “Ang aral ng dharma ay itinakda rito upang mapanatili ang takbo ng buhay sa daigdig. Kapag sumapit ang suliranin—kung dapat bang manaig ang ahimsa sa lahat ng pagkakataon o gumamit ng dahas laban sa masasama—ang higit na mabuti ay piliin ang gawaing nagtataguyod at nagtatanggol sa dharma.”
