अबुद्धिपूर्वकपापविमोचनप्रश्नः — Janamejaya’s Unintended Transgression and the Indrota Rebuke
हन्त वक्ष्यामि ते श्रेय: श्रुत्वा तु कुरु तत् तथा
hanta vakṣyāmi te śreyaḥ śrutvā tu kuru tat tathā
Wika ni Bhishma: “Halika—sasabihin ko sa iyo ang tunay na para sa iyong pinakamataas na kapakinabangan. Pagkarinig mo, kumilos ka ayon dito, gaya ng itinuro.”
भीष्म उवाच
Bhīṣma frames the coming instruction as śreyaḥ—true, lasting welfare—and urges not merely listening but translating the teaching into action (kuru tathā).
In Śānti Parva’s didactic setting, Bhīṣma, as the authoritative elder-teacher, signals that he is about to deliver guidance for the listener’s highest good and commands faithful implementation after hearing it.
