कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
ताराब्यं कुमुदाकारमाकाशं निर्मल बहु । घनैर्मुक्ते नभो दृष्टवा लुब्धक: शीतविह्नल:
tārābhyaṃ kumudākāram ākāśaṃ nirmalaṃ bahu | ghanair mukte nabho dṛṣṭvā lubdhakaḥ śītavihvalaḥ ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Ang langit na hitik sa mga bituin at lubhang malinaw ay wari’y isang lawa na pinalamutian ng ganap na namumulaklak na puting liryo sa tubig. Nang makita niyang wala na ang mga ulap, ang mangangaso—nanginginig sa lamig—ay tumingin sa lahat ng dako; at nang masdan ang gabing mabigat sa dilim, naisip niya sa sarili na malayo ang kanyang tahanan mula roon.”
