कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
नैव निम्नं स्थलं वापि सो$5विन्दत विहड़हा । पूरितो हि जलौघेन तस्य मार्गो वनस्य च,वनका मार्ग जिसपर वह चलता था, जलके प्रवाहमें डूब गया था। उस बहेलियेको नीची-ऊँची भूमिका कुछ पता नहीं चलता था
naiva nimnaṃ sthalaṃ vāpi so 'vindata vihaṅgamaḥ | pūrito hi jalaughena tasya mārgo vanasya ca ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: Hindi na matukoy ng tagahuli ng ibon kung alin ang mababa at alin ang mataas na lupa. Sapagkat nilamon ng rumaragasang tubig ang landas na kanyang tinatahak, at maging ang mga daanang-gubat ay lubog—kaya’t hindi na niya malaman kung saan naroon ang daan.
