उदार यद् भवानाह नैतच्चित्रं भवद्विधे । विहितो यस्तु मार्गो मे हितार्थ शृणु तं मम
udāra yad bhavān āha naitac citraṃ bhavad-vidhe | vihito yas tu mārgo me hitārthaṃ śṛṇu taṃ mama ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Kaibigang pusa, ang mapagbigay mong mga salita ay hindi kataka-taka sa tulad mo. Ngayon, pakinggan mo ang landas na aking itinakda, para sa kapakanan ng magkabilang panig.”
