आपद्धर्मनिर्णयः — विश्वामित्र-श्वपचसंवादः

अहं हि भृशमापतन्नस्त्वमापन्नतरो मम । द्वयोरापन्नयो: संधि: क्रियतां मा चिराय च

ahaṁ hi bhṛśam āpatann as tvam āpannataro mama | dvayor āpannayoḥ sandhiḥ kriyatāṁ mā cirāya ca ||

Wika ni Bhishma: “Ako’y nahulog sa matinding kapahamakan, at ikaw ay nasa higit pang mabigat na kalagayan kaysa sa akin. Yamang kapwa tayo nasa gitna ng sakuna, maganap nawa ang pakikipagkasundo sa pagitan natin—agad, huwag nang magtagal.”
