यो विश्वसिति मित्रेषु न विश्वसिति शत्रुषु । अर्थयुक्तिमविज्ञाय य: प्रीती कुरुते मन:
yo viśvasiti mitreṣu na viśvasiti śatruṣu | arthayuktim avijñāya yaḥ prītiṃ kurute manaḥ ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Ang naglalagak ng tiwala sa mga kaibigan at hindi nagtitiwala sa mga kaaway, ngunit hindi nauunawaan ang tunay na lohika ng pakinabang at layon, at hinahayaang mabihag ang isip ng pag-ibig—ang gayong tao’y kumikilos nang walang pag-unawa.”
