भीष्म उवाच विज्ञानबलमास्थाय जीवितव्यं तथागते । सर्व साध्वर्थमेवेदमसाध्वर्थ न किंचन

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca vijñānabalam āsthāya jīvitavyaṃ tathāgate | sarva-sādhv-artham evedaṃ asādhv-artha na kiṃcana ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Bhīṣma: “Kapag dumating ang gayong kalagayan, dapat panatilihin ang buhay sa pag-asa sa lakas ng pag-unawa at tunay na kaalaman. Anumang yaman at pinagkukunan na nakikita sa mundong ito ay para sa mabubuti at mararangal; para sa masasama, sa katotohanan, wala ni isa mang bagay na nararapat na kanila.”
