आपद्-राजनीतिः (Āpad-rājanīti) — Policy Options in Multi-Front Crisis
ततः संस्मृत्य तत् सर्व स्मारयिष्यन्निवाब्रवीत् । राजानं भगवान् विप्रस्तत: कृशतनुस्तदा,तब उन दुर्बल शरीरवाले पूज्यपाद ऋषिने पहलेकी सारी बातोंको याद करके राजाको भी उनका स्मरण दिलाते हुए-से इस प्रकार कहा
tataḥ saṁsmṛtya tat sarvaṁ smārayiṣyann ivābravīt | rājānaṁ bhagavān vipras tataḥ kṛśatanus tadā ||
Pagkaraan, nang maalala niya ang lahat ng bagay na iyon, ang kagalang-galang na pantas na Brahmin—na ngayo’y payat na ang katawan—ay nagsalita sa hari na wari’y muling nagpapaalala, upang ihanda ang daan sa payong nakaugat sa dharma at wastong pag-unawa.
ऋषभ उवाच
The verse frames ethical instruction as an act of remembrance: the sage recalls prior truths and deliberately prompts the king to recollect them, implying that dharma is often known but must be reawakened through wise counsel.
R̥ṣabha, described as venerable yet physically weakened, gathers his recollection of earlier points and begins addressing the king, speaking in a way meant to remind the ruler of what has already been discussed or understood.
