सुमित्रो नाम राजर्षिहैहयो मृगयां गत: । ससार स मृगं विद्ध्वा बाणेनानतपर्वणा
Sumitro nāma rājarṣir haihayo mṛgayāṁ gataḥ | sasāra sa mṛgaṁ viddhvā bāṇenānataparvaṇā ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “May isang haring-muni na nagngangalang Sumitra, mula sa angkan ng Haihaya. Minsan, pumasok siya sa gubat upang mangaso. Nang masugatan niya ang isang usa sa palasong ang mga dugtungan ay nakayuko pababa, sinimulan niyang habulin ang sugatang hayop.”
