Āśā-prabhava (आशाप्रभव) — On the Rise and Power of Hope/Expectation

आत्मनस्तु ततः श्रेयो भार्गवात्‌ सुमहातपा: । ज्ञानमागमयत् प्रीत्या पुन: स परमद्युति:,तब परम तेजस्वी महातपस्वी इन्द्रने प्रसन्नता-पूर्वक शुक्राचार्यसे पुन: अपने लिये श्रेयका ज्ञान प्राप्त किया

ātmanaḥ tu tataḥ śreyo bhārgavāt sumahātapāḥ | jñānam āgamayat prītyā punaḥ sa paramadyutiḥ ||

Pagkatapos, para sa kanyang sariling pinakamataas na kabutihan, ang dakilang ascetic na nagliliwanag sa sukdulang ningning ay muling lumapit, na may galak at paggalang, kay Bhārgava (Śukrācārya) at tumanggap ng kaalaman tungkol sa tunay na kapakinabangan. Ipinahihiwatig ng taludtod na kahit ang makapangyarihan ay kailangang paulit-ulit na bumalik sa marurunong na guro upang matutuhan ang landas ng kapakanan at wastong asal.
