धर्माणामविरोधेन सर्वेषां प्रियमाचरेत् । ममायमिति राजा यः स पर्वत इवाचल:
dharmāṇām avirodhena sarveṣāṁ priyam ācaret | mamāyam iti rājā yaḥ sa parvata iva acalaḥ ||
Wika ni Bhishma: Dapat gumawa ang hari ng ikalulugod ng lahat, ngunit huwag sumalungat sa dharma. Ang haring tumitingin sa kanyang nasasakupan na may damdaming, “Sila’y akin,” ay nananatiling matatag at di matinag na gaya ng bundok.
