मयूरवद्राजधर्मः (Mayūra-vat Rāja-dharma) — The Peacock-Model of Protective Kingship
कर्मस्विहानुरूपेषु न््यस्या भृत्या यथाविधि । प्रतिलोम॑ न भृत्यास्ते स्थाप्या: कर्मफलैषिणा
karmasv ihānurūpeṣu nyasyā bhṛtyā yathāvidhi | pratilomaṁ na bhṛtyās te sthāpyāḥ karmaphalaiṣiṇā ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Dito, ang mga lingkod ay dapat italaga—ayon sa wastong pamamaraan—sa mga gawaing angkop sa kanilang kakayahan at likas na hilig. Ang naghahangad ng bunga ay hindi dapat maglagay ng mga lingkod sa ‘baligtad’ o di-wastong tungkulin, sapagkat ang maling pag-atas ay lumalabag sa tamang kaayusan at nagbubunga ng kapinsalaan.”
