Testing and Appointment of Ministers/Servants
दिश: सम्प्राद्रवन् राजन् भयाज्जीवितकांक्षिण: । राजन! उस शरभसे भयभीत हो जंगलके सभी पशु अपनी जान बचानेके लिये डरके मारे सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें भाग गये
diśaḥ samprādravan rājan bhayāj jīvitakāṅkṣiṇaḥ |
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “O Hari, dahil sa takot at sa pagnanais na mailigtas ang buhay, ang mga nilalang ay nagsitakbuhan sa lahat ng dako.” Ipinahihiwatig ng linyang ito na ang takot ay nakapaghihiwa-hiwalay sa mga nilalang mula sa kanilang likás na kaayusan, at ang udyok ng pag-iingat sa sarili ay lumalamang sa katatagan at malinaw na paghatol.
