Gratitude, Discernment, and the Escalation of Power (Śvā–Dvipī–Vyāghra–Nāga–Siṃha–Śarabha Itihāsa)
तस्यर्षेरुपविष्टस्थ पादमूले महामते । मनुष्यवद्गतो भावो स्नेहबद्धों& भवद् भूशम्
tasyarṣer upaviṣṭastha-pādamūle mahāmate | manuṣyavad gato bhāvo sneha-baddho ’bhavad bhūśam ||
Sinabi ni Bhishma: “O marunong, nang ang aso’y nakaupo sa paanan ng dakilang pantas, sumibol sa loob nito ang damdaming wari’y sa tao. Nabigkis nang mahigpit ng pag-ibig, lubha itong napamahal at napakapit sa pantas.”
