गोत्रस्य नाशं कुर्वन्ति गणभेदस्य कारकम्‌ । कुलोंमें जो कलह होते हैं, उनकी यदि कुलके वृद्ध पुरुषोंने उपेक्षा कर दी तो वे कलह गणोंमें फ़ूट डालकर समस्त कुलका नाश कर डालते हैं

Transliteration

gotrasya nāśaṁ kurvanti gaṇabhedasya kārakam |

Translation

Sabi ni Bhishma: “Ang sinumang nagiging sanhi ng pagkakabaha-bahagi ng mga pangkat ay nagdadala ng kapahamakan sa angkan. Kapag may alitan sa loob ng pamilya at pinabayaan ito ng mga nakatatanda, ang mga pagtatalong iyon ay maghihiwalay sa mga pangkat sa loob ng lipi at sa huli’y wawasak sa buong lahi.”
