Ānṛśaṃsya, Amātya-Guṇa, and Reconciliatory Counsel (आनृशंस्य–अमात्यगुण–संधि-उपदेशः)

तेन ते संधिरेवास्तु विश्वसास्मिन्‌ यथा मयि । न राज्यमनमात्येन शक्‍यं शास्तुमपि 5यहम्‌

tena te sandhir evāstu viśvāsasmin yathā mayi | na rājyam anamātyena śakyaṃ śāstum api tryaham ||

Wika ni Bhishma: “Kaya’t tiyak na dapat magkaroon ng kasunduan sa kanya. Ipagkatiwala ninyo siya gaya ng pagtitiwala ninyo sa akin. Sapagkat walang kaharian ang mapamamahalaan—sa katotohanan, hindi man lamang mananatili—kahit tatlong araw kung walang ministro.”
