शूरलक्षणवर्णनम् | Marks and Typologies of Martial Temperament
सर्वत्र शूरा जायन्ते महासत्त्वा महाबला: | प्राय एव समुद्दिष्टा लक्षणानि तु मे शृणु
sarvatra śūrā jāyante mahāsattvā mahābalāḥ | prāya eva samuddiṣṭā lakṣaṇāni tu me śṛṇu ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Sa bawat lupain, may isinisilang na mga bayani—mga lalaking may dakilang diwa at dakilang lakas. Naipahiwatig na ang pangkalahatang katangian; ngayo’y pakinggan mo sa akin ang mga palatandaang nagtatangi sa kanila nang masinsin.”
