Bhīma’s Rebuttal of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Renunciatory Inclination
भैक्ष्ममेवाचरिष्याम शरीरस्याविमोक्षणात् । न चेदं दारुणं युद्धमभविष्यन्महीक्षिताम्,हम भी आपकी ही तरह शरीर छूटनेतक भीख माँगकर ही जीवन-निर्वाह करते। फिर तो राजाओंमें यह भयंकर युद्ध होता ही नहीं
bhaikṣyam evācariṣyāma śarīrasyāvimokṣaṇāt | na cedam dāruṇaṁ yuddham abhaviṣyan mahīkṣitām ||
Sinabi ni Bhīma: “Mabubuhay sana kami sa paghingi lamang ng limos, tulad mo, hanggang sa iwan na ng katawan ang buhay. Kung gayon, hindi sana naganap ang kakila-kilabot na digmaang ito sa pagitan ng mga hari.”
भीम उवाच
