उपयाता नरव्याप्रा: पञ्चालाश्न यशस्विन: । इसी प्रकार समरांगणमें विजयसे सुशोभित होनेवाले शूरवीर पुरुषसिंह पाण्डव और यशस्वी पांचाल वीर आपकी सेनाके समीप आ पहुँचे
sañjaya uvāca | upayātā naravyāprāḥ pañcālāś ca yaśasvinaḥ |
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Ang mga Pañcāla, masigla sa labanan at bantog ang pangalan, ay sumulong at lumapit. Gayundin, ang mga Pāṇḍava—mga bayani na tila mga leon, nagliliwanag sa pag-asang tagumpay sa larangan—kasama ang mga kilalang mandirigmang Pañcāla, ay dumaong sa tabi ng inyong hukbo.”
