इत्यब्रुवन् भीमसेनं वातिकास्तत्र सड़ता: । तान् हृष्टान् पुरुषव्याप्रान् पज्चालान् पाण्डवै: सह
ity abruvan bhīmasenaṃ vātikās tatra saṅgatāḥ | tān hṛṣṭān puruṣavyāghrān pāñcālān pāṇḍavaiḥ saha ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Ganyan nagsalita kay Bhīmasena ang mga sugo na nagtipon doon. Inilarawan nila ang mga Pāñcāla—mga bayaning tila tigre, nag-uumapaw sa galak—na nakatindig kasama ng mga Pāṇḍava.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical and strategic importance of truthful reporting and collective morale in dharmic warfare: messengers convey the state of allies, and the unity and spirited readiness of righteous supporters strengthens resolve without resorting to deceit.
Sañjaya narrates that messengers gathered and spoke to Bhīma, reporting about the Pāñcāla warriors—joyful and heroic—standing together with the Pāṇḍavas, indicating allied solidarity and preparedness in the ongoing conflict.
