Śalya’s Consecration as Senāpati and Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Yudhiṣṭhira (शल्यस्य सेनापत्यभिषेकः)
सुवृत्तोरुकटीजड्घं सुपादं स्वड्गुलीनखम् | स्मृत्वा स्मृत्वैव तु गुणान् धात्रा यत्नाद् विनिर्मितम्
suvṛttorukaṭījaḍghaṃ supādaṃ svaṅgulīnakhām | smṛtvā smṛtvaiva tu guṇān dhātrā yatnād vinirmitām
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: “May bilugang mga hita siya, malapad na balakang, at matitibay na binti; maganda ang mga paa, may pinong mga daliri at mga kuko. Sa paulit-ulit na paggunita sa kanyang mga katangian, iisiping siya’y hinubog ng Maylikha nang may masusing pag-iingat at sinadyang pagsisikap.”
