यमस्य विषयं ते तु न द्रक्ष्यन्ति कदाचन । जो मानव शुभकी इच्छा रखकर यहाँ नित्य निवास करेंगे, उन्हें कभी यमका राज्य नहीं देखना पड़ेगा
yamasya viṣayaṃ te tu na drakṣyanti kadācana |
Wika ni Rāma: “Hindi kailanman mamamasdan ng mga taong iyon ang kaharian ni Yama. Sinumang manahan dito nang palagian na may mapalad na layon at hangaring kabutihan, hindi na haharap sa kapangyarihan ni Yama.”
राम उवाच
The verse teaches that sustained life or conduct rooted in auspicious intention and goodwill is depicted as protecting one from Yama’s realm—symbolically, from the consequences of wrongdoing and the fear of post-mortem judgment.
Rāma is making a declarative assurance about the fate of certain people: those who remain (or dwell) with a wholesome purpose will not encounter Yama’s jurisdiction, framing a moral guarantee within the story’s discourse.
