ततस्तु मुनयः प्राप्ता: फलान्यादाय पर्वतात् | ततः स भगवान् प्रीतः प्रोवाचारुन्धतीं ततः,“तदनन्तर सप्तर्षिगण हिमालय पर्वतसे फल लेकर वहाँ आये। उस समय भगवान् शंकरने प्रसन्न होकर अरुन्धतीसे कहा--:धर्मज्ञे! अब तुम पहलेके समान इन ऋषियोंके पास जाओ! धर्मको जाननेवाली देवि! मैं तुम्हारी तपस्या और नियमसे बहुत प्रसन्न हूँ
tatastu munayaḥ prāptāḥ phalāny ādāya parvatāt | tataḥ sa bhagavān prītaḥ provācāruṇdhatīṃ tataḥ |
Pagkaraan ay dumating ang mga muni, taglay ang mga bungang kinuha mula sa bundok. Noon, ang Mapalad na Panginoon (Śaṅkara), nalugod sa puso, ay nagsalita kay Arundhatī: “O nakaaalam ng dharma, lumapit ka ngayon sa mga ṛṣi na ito gaya ng dati. O babaeng nakaaalam ng dharma, labis akong nasiyahan sa iyong tapasya at sa iyong mahigpit na pagsunod sa mga panata.”
