स शालस्कन्धशबलं त्रस्तवानरवारणम् | प्रोड्डीनोदभ्रान्तविहगं विनिष्पतितपन्नगम्
sa śālaskandhaśabalaṃ trastavānaravāraṇam | proḍḍīnodabhrāntavihagaṃ viniṣpatitapannagam
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Ito’y batik-batik na wari’y punò ng punong śāla, at nakapanghihilakbot na pati mga unggoy at elepante’y nanginig sa takot; pinailanlang nito ang mga ibon na litong-lito at pinaalpas ang mga ahas na nagtatakbuhan sa sindak.
