यशस्विनीनां मातृणां शृणु नामानि भारत | याभिव्यप्तास्त्रयो लोका: कल्याणीभिश्न भागश:,भरतनन्दन! तुम उन यशस्वी मातृकाओंके नाम सुनो, जिन कल्याणकारिणी देवियोंने विभागपूर्वक तीनों लोकोंको व्याप्त कर रखा है
yaśasvinīnāṃ mātṝṇāṃ śṛṇu nāmāni bhārata | yābhir vyāptās trayo lokāḥ kalyāṇībhiś ca bhāgaśaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “O Bhārata, pakinggan mo ang mga pangalan ng mga dakilang Ina-Diyosa—mapalad sa kanilang kapangyarihan—na siyang lumaganap at bumalot sa tatlong daigdig, bawat isa ayon sa itinakdang bahagi nito.”
