कृत्वा कुशलसंयुक्तां संविदं च यथावय: । जनार्दनं सात्यकिं च प्रेम्णा स परिषस्वजे
kṛtvā kuśalasaṃyuktāṃ saṃvidaṃ ca yathāvayaḥ | janārdanaṃ sātyakiṃ ca premṇā sa pariṣasvaje ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Matapos magpalitan ng magagalang na pagbati ng kagalingan, ayon sa nararapat sa gulang, niyakap niya nang may pag-ibig si Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa) at si Sātyaki.
संजय उवाच
Even in a violent and morally complex setting like war, dharmic conduct is sustained through basic virtues—courteous inquiry after welfare (kuśala-saṃvida) and affectionate regard for allies. The verse highlights that ethical life is not only in grand vows but also in humane gestures that preserve solidarity and right intention.
