अध्याय ३: कृपस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः

Kṛpa’s Counsel to Duryodhana

पदातयो हि संरब्धास्त्यक्तजीवितबान्धवा:

padātayo hi saṃrabdhās tyaktajīvitabāndhavāḥ

Wika ni Sañjaya: Ang mga kawal na naglalakad, nag-aalab sa mabangis na pasya, ay itinakwil ang pag-aalala sa sariling buhay at sa mga kamag-anak—itinulak sila ng digmaan sa isang pagkagalit na “lahat o wala.”
