Wika ni Sañjaya: Nang may lalamunang sinakal ng hikbi at mga matang basang-basa sa luha, pumasok siya sa Hāstinapura kasama ng iba. Habang lumulubog ang araw, patuloy na dumadaloy ang luha mula sa kanyang mga mata; at sa sandaling iyon, naputol ang kanyang tinig, nilamon ng dalamhati at ng bigat na moral ng naganap.
संजय उवाच
