Śālva’s Elephant Assault and the Counterstroke (शाल्वस्य नागारूढाभ्यवहारः)

मयि स्थिते च समरे निरुद्धेषु च पाण्डुषु पुनरावर्तते तूर्ण मापकं बलमोजसा,“जब मैं समरांगणमें खड़ा होऊँगा और पाण्डवोंका बढ़ाव रुक जायगा, तब मेरी सेना पुनः शीघ्र ही लौट आयेगी और सारी शक्ति लगाकर युद्ध करेगी”

mayi sthite ca samare niruddheṣu ca pāṇḍuṣu punarāvartate tūrṇaṃ māmakaṃ balam ojasā

Wika ni Sañjaya: “Kapag ako’y tumindig nang matatag sa larangan ng digmaan at napigil ang pagsulong ng mga Pāṇḍava, ang ating hukbo ay mabilis na babalik, titipunin ang buong lakas, at muling lalaban nang may panibagong sigla.”
