Śālva’s Elephant Assault and the Counterstroke (शाल्वस्य नागारूढाभ्यवहारः)
दृष्टवा तु कौरवं सैन्यं भयत्रस्तं प्रविद्रुतम् । अन्योन्यं समभाषन्त पज्चाला: पाण्डवैः सह,कौरव-सेनाको भयसे संत्रस्त होकर भागती देख पाण्डवोंसहित पांचालयोद्धा आपसमें इस प्रकार वार्तालाप करने लगे---
dṛṣṭvā tu kauravaṃ sainyaṃ bhayatrastaṃ pravidrutam | anyonyaṃ samabhāṣanta pāñcālāḥ pāṇḍavaiḥ saha ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Nang makita ang hukbong Kaurava na nasindak at nagtatakbuhan sa takot, ang mga mandirigmang Pañcāla, kasama ang mga Pāṇḍava, ay nagsimulang mag-usap-usap sa isa’t isa.
