शल्यवधे कौरवसेनाभङ्गः, भीमस्य गदायुद्धं, दुर्योधनस्य समाह्वानम्

क्षोभयन्ति सम तां सेनां मकरा: सागरं यथा | युधिष्ठिरको सब ओरसे घेरकर खड़े हुए पुरुषप्रवर पाण्डव उस सेनाको उसी प्रकार क्षुब्ध करने लगे, जैसे मगर समुद्रको
kṣobhayanti sma tāṃ senāṃ makarāḥ sāgaraṃ yathā |
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Ang mga Pāṇḍava—pinakamahuhusay sa mga lalaki—ay pumaligid sa hukbong iyon mula sa lahat ng panig at sinimulang guluhin ito, gaya ng mga makara na kumakaskas at nagpapabagyo sa karagatan.
