भीमसेनस्तु त॑ षष्ट्या सात्यकिर्दशभि: शरै: । मद्रराजमभिद्र॒ुत्य जघ्नतु: कड्कपत्रिभि:,फिर भीमसेनने साठ और सात्यकिने कंकपत्रयुक्त दस बाणोंसे मद्रराजपर वेगपूर्वक प्रहार किया
bhīmasenas tu taṁ ṣaṣṭyā sātyakir daśabhiḥ śaraiḥ | madrarājam abhidrutya jaghnatuḥ kaṅkapatribhiḥ ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: Si Bhīmasena ay may animnapung palaso, at si Sātyaki naman ay may sampung palasong may balahibo ng buwitre; sumugod sila sa hari ng Madra at malakas na tumama.
संजय उवाच
Even in a righteous war, action is driven by duty and skill, yet it remains morally weighty; the verse highlights kṣatriya valor and tactical execution while implicitly reminding that dharma is tested amid the harsh necessities of battle.
Sañjaya reports that Bhīma and Sātyaki charge the Madra king (Śalya) and strike him—Bhīma with sixty arrows and Sātyaki with ten vulture-feathered arrows—showing a coordinated assault in the ongoing Kurukṣetra battle.
