अध्याय ९ — दुर्योधनस्य अन्त्यावस्था, विलापः, तथा सौप्तिक-प्रतिवृत्तम्
Duryodhana’s Final Condition, Lamentation, and the Night’s Report
कि नाम तद् भवेत् कर्म येन त्वां न व्रजाम वै । दुःखं नूनं कुरुश्रेष्ठ चरिष्याम महीमिमाम्
ki nāma tad bhavet karma yena tvāṃ na vrajāma vai | duḥkhaṃ nūnaṃ kuruśreṣṭha cariṣyāma mahīm imām ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “Anong gawa ang maaaring maging dahilan upang hindi kami makapunta sa iyo? Tunay, O pinakadakila sa mga Kuru, maglalagalag kami sa lupang ito na may pighati.”
