क्रुद्धेन द्रोणपुत्रेण संछन्ना: प्रापतन् भुवि । यक्षों तथा राक्षसोंसे भरे हुए एवं रथों
sañjaya uvāca | kruddhena droṇaputreṇa saṃchannāḥ prāpatan bhuvi | bhrātṝn anye pitṝn anye putrān anye vicukruśuḥ ||
Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Sa ilalim ng poot ng anak ni Droṇa, marami ang bumagsak sa lupa. May sumisigaw para sa mga kapatid, may tumatawag sa mga ama, at may humahagulgol para sa mga anak—mga tinig ng pagkakamag-anak at dalamhati na umaalingawngaw sa gitna ng pagpatay.
